A mono block single ended class A amplifier with an output power of 4/30W on 6 Ohm the MSE60 is aimed at lovers of music that is reproduced without negative feedback. The single ended class A voltage amplifier realized with vacuum tube triode amplifies the input signal to the required amplitude, the single ended class A current amplifier (MOSFET) that follows provides the required current. This pure and simple configuration lets the listener really ‘feel’ the music in its basic beauty.
Selection of output power allows the listener to reduce heat dissipation listening music at lower levels. Power supply management and turn-on delay is performed by separate FET-stabilized supplies for the input and output stages respectively. Vacuum tubes filaments in the driver stage are also DC regulated and stabilized. The amplifier can be used also as power buffer with amplification factor 1. The mode of operation is selectable at the rear with a switch and dedicated RCA input. This input can be connected directly to speakers output of the driving power amplifier (special cable required).
