Innovative Full Range Reflecting Closed Box Speaker System
The AA R303 FR is a speaker system designed to take up little space with its small and innovative design and offer exceptional audio reproduction. The units are special unit capable of reproducing all six octaves with very low distortion and very high sensitivity. The system is without any cross over filters, the concept is a closed box (compression), providing time and phase coherent reproduction. The RR303 FR is neither an omnidirectional radiator nor a true doublet (front-and-rear) radiator. Most of its energy come thought from a broad angle at the rear; a single driver in front delivers only part of the total radiated energy. The entire audio spectrum is radiated from both front and back, with back output predominating. The back wave is then supposed to be reflected from the wall behind the speakers, and these reflections “spray” the sound all over the listening room. Using special units allows extremely accurate and natural sound imaging with powerful articulated bass. The speaker is suitable small and medium-sized rooms (up to 70 m2) and will give lovers of quality and enjoyable music listening the exceptional stage, depth, width and detail of the audio image.
The beauty of sound
The sound system is less critical of room placement in terms of stereo imaging than most other systems. The placement of the sound units and their locations are nevertheless (partially) limited by the requirements of proximity to the rear wall and the usual dictates (if possible) of symmetrical placement in the room, so the bass performance of the system ultimately depends more on the peculiarities of the room than on the inherent capabilities of the speakers.
The use of broadband units enables a scaled phase and an optimal response in time space, so the transients of individual instruments and sound as well as the entire sound image are extremely precisely coordinated. The design of the housing further contributes to the fact that the sound image is precisely supported by a strong articulated bass.
The membrane on the broadband units is made of a special alloy that ensures extremely low weight and thickness, which enables extremely high-quality reproduction in a wide sound spectrum from 22 Hz to 21,000 Hz and reaches up to 110 dB of sound pressure.
Hand made
The AA RR303 FR is handcrafted and all components are tested before installation. The system is also prepared for use (approx. 100 hours of “heating”).
The design of the system housing expresses minimalism and elegance.
